Spelling/Vocabulary 30 Weeks
So! I found a GREAT site that has 30 weeks of Spelling words for grades 1-8!!!! How awesome, but now what to do to teach them the lists. Follow the Daily list below for each set of weekly words.

MON- Present words on board. Have the child write down the words in their Spelling spiral notebook. (Preferably Wide Ruled).
​
TUES- Write Words in ABC order
​
WED- Play What kind of word is it? Describing word? Action Word? Noun? etc..
​
THURS- UNSCRAMBLE- EITHER ON PAPER OR WITH PHYSICAL LETTERS THEY CAN PLAY WITH. HAVE FUN!
​
FRI- SPELLING TEST- Depending on the needs and abilities of your child this can be written or verbal or a mix of both. TIP FOR YOUNGER STUDENTS- Write words on cards for smaller children throw on the floor and ask them to pick up "___" (whatever word you choose). See if they can SPOT the word.
